CM Naidu To Launch Double-decker E-buses In Vizag On August 29

Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam on August 29, said collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad after holding a review meeting on the same on Monday.
The Chief Minister will arrive at the airport at 11 am and proceed to the Novotel Hotel, where he will participate in various programmes, including the inauguration of double-decker buses by the tourism department.
The hop-on, hop-off (HOHO) double-decker electric buses will be launched to enhance tourism and improve urban connectivity. The service is a collaboration between GVMC Smart City, the tourism department, and the Visakhapatnam Port Authority. The buses will run on select routes connecting key attractions like RK Beach, Kailasagiri, Simhachalam and Thotlakonda, offering a convenient and sustainable way to explore the city.
Later, Naidu will take part in the inauguration of VMRDA (Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority) projects. He will also participate in the National Sports Day activities, including the prize distribution of the Amaravati Championship Cup at Andhra University Engineering College grounds.
