N. Chandrababu Naidu directed the district in-charge ministers that if any rebels are remaining in the party, they should be suspended, and the candidates finalized by the alliance would be the final choice.
Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday directed the district in-charge ministers that if there are any rebels still remaining in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), they should be suspended and the candidates finalized by the three parties would be the final choice.
Speaking to the TDP cadre and ministers-in-charge ahead of the upcoming local body elections, after the Andhra Pradesh State Cabinet Meeting was conducted in a hybrid format pertaining to Cyclone Arnab, he asked them to work for the alliance candidates’ victory. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said the recent press meet on alliance unity had reached the people well. He called on the leaders to work together to win the elections for the candidates of all three parties.
Naidu said there is strong public positivity towards development and welfare and that once these elections are over, the focus should shift to panchayat elections, followed immediately by Municipal elections, and after that on governance as a whole. He also advised the ministers to resolve any disputes immediately.
