CM Approves to Start Medical College at Piduguralla for 2026–27 With 100 Seats
Minister of health Satya Kumar Yadav, in a statement issued here on Wednesday, stated that the CM had agreed for developing basic amenities for giving admission for 100 seats in the first phase and to take up recruitment of staff members to the medical college.
Vijayawada:Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has given approval for certain proposals to start the government medical college for the academic year 2026-27 under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme at Piduguralla in Palnadu district.
Minister of health Satya Kumar Yadav, in a statement issued here on Wednesday, stated that the CM had agreed for developing basic amenities for giving admission for 100 seats in the first phase and to take up recruitment of staff members to the medical college.
He said that as per National Medical Commission norms, for giving admission for 100 seats in MBBS course, a teaching hospital with 420-bed strength to be provided and added that the CM had given his nod to develop a teaching hospital with 600 beds and to recruit 237 staff members.
