Chinni Backs MSME Park, Seeks Support For Vijayawada Utsav

Vijayawada MP and ACA president Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) said closer coordination between the government and industry was needed to strengthen infrastructure, improve the investment climate and support entrepreneurs.

Addressing the annual general meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers) here on Saturday, Chinni lauded the federation’s role in promoting industrial and commercial growth in the State.

He assured the gathering that he would extend his support for allotting land to establish an MSME park in NTR district. Promoting MSMEs would create local employment and provide new opportunities for youth, he said, stressing the need to encourage entrepreneurs and coordinate with stakeholders.

Chinni urged industrial, commercial, cultural and tourism groups to actively participate in the Vijayawada Utsav and make it a success. The festival should be seen as a celebration of the entire city, he said.

He said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was giving priority to regional spiritual tourism development. Developing spiritual, historical and cultural destinations would boost local economies and create business and employment opportunities, he added.

Tenali Double Horse Group board member C. Mohan Shyam Prasad, recipient of the ‘Iconic Brand of the Year-2026’ award, was felicitated. Presidents of affiliated associations were also honoured.

AP Chambers president Potluri Bhaskara Rao, executive vice-president B. Rajasekhar and others attended.
