Chief Minister Naidu Promises Full State Support for Satyasai Shata Jayanti

 Kurnool: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said officials would make elaborate arrangements for the Satyasai Shata Jayanti celebrations, which is observed as a state festival in November.

In a meeting held at Puttaparthi with members of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and government officials, Naidu stressed that the celebrations should be conducted in a grand and coordinated manner. He said the state government and the Sathya Sai Trust would work together to ensure the success of the event.

Highlighting the global significance of the programme, the CM said the centenary celebrations would attract international devotees, promote spiritual tourism and create local employment opportunities. He stressed the importance of elaborate planning for venues, transportation, accommodation, sanitation and security, well in advance.

He acknowledged the trust’s services and spiritual activities. Union agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, ministers Nara Lokesh, S Savita, Y Satya Kumar Yadav and MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy were present.
