Cheating Case: YouTuber Nandana Appears For Inquiry At Ibrahimpatnam Police Station
The police did not get any vital clues from her and served a notice on her to appear for the inquiry again at the police station on Sept 16.
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh police questioned YouTuber A Rama Nandana at the Ibrahimpatnam police station here on Tuesday in a case of cheating and breach of trust in the name of visa renewal and employment.
She is learnt to have informed the police that she was not involved in any fraudulent practice and that her husband Jagarlamudi Madhukar was taking care of activities like visa renewal.
The police did not get any vital clues from her and served a notice on her to appear for the inquiry again at the police station on Sept 16.
When the police asked about her husband and main accused in the case, Madhukar, as to when he would appear for the inquiry, she replied that he would reach India and do so after her return to her home in London. She also told the police that her parents should be at their home to take care of their children.
Meanwhile, high drama unfolded at the police station when Nandana arrived there. Several victims of the alleged cheating reached the police station and sought return of their money from the couple. Some said that they had sold away their farm lands to invest in schemes but lost money.
