Chandrababu Naidu makes 'very rich-very poor' remarks at Davos

Chief Ministers, ministers and official delegations from several Indian states are taking part in the World Economic Forum being held in Davos, Switzerland.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis are busy in the foreign land trying to attract investments into their respective states.

During a conference "Country Strategic Dialogue", all three CMs were found on the same dais.

Naidu made an interesting comment on Revanth and Fadnavis at this time.

On a lighter note, Naidu said that Revanth and Devendra Fadnavis are from very rich states while his state (Andhra Pradesh) is very poor.

He observed that Maharashtra capital Mumbai is the financial capital of India while Telangana is the state with highest per capita in India. They (Maharashtra and Telangana) are very rich and we (Andhra Pradesh) is very poor, evoking laughter from the audience in the hall.

The Union Sales ministry organised this programme to attract investments into the country. Green energy, artificial intelligence, and investment into the defence sector were discussed at the conference.
