AP CM Chandrababu Invited to Dasara Celebrations at Kanaka Durga Temple
AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu has been invited to the Dasara celebrations at the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple on Indrakeeladri.
Vijayawada: The Endowment Department officials and members of the managing committee of the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam, at Indrakeeladri, invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to attend the Dasara celebrations at the hill-top temple.
During the visit, temple priests offered the prasadam to the Chief Minister and blessed him with Veda Asirvachanam (Vedic chanting ).
The CM enquired about the arrangements being made for the celebrations. He directed officials to ensure that devotees attending the festival face no inconvenience and that all necessary facilities are provided.
Chairman of the Temple Trust Board Borra Radhakrishna, Endowments Department Commissioner Ramachandra Mohan, Executive Officer (EO) Sheena Naik, and other board members were among those present. The Andhra Pradesh government plans to invite the Chief Ministers of six states to the Dasara celebrations scheduled to be held from October 11 to 20 at Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada.
