Chandra Sekhara Reddy Appointed As National Advisor

Expressing gratitude on his appointment, Reddy said he would work to strengthen EESL’s mission and enhance its global brand image in energy efficiency.

Vijayawada:In a major step to strengthen India’s energy efficiency movement, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a joint venture of PSUs under the Union Ministry of Power, has appointed A. Chandra Sekhara Reddy as its National Advisor for Government Affairs and Media.

With over three decades of experience in the power and energy sectors, Reddy will oversee communication strategies, awareness campaigns, stakeholder outreach, and national and international workshops. He will also mentor EESL’s public relations initiatives and spearhead campaigns under Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), the flagship initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at COP26.

Reddy earlier served as Media Adviser for Southern States and UTs at the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and as CEO of Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission (SECM). His innovative models in energy conservation won national recognition for delivering both economic benefits and climate change mitigation. He also worked for eight years in the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office.

Expressing gratitude on his appointment, Reddy said he would work to strengthen EESL’s mission and enhance its global brand image in energy efficiency.
