Centre Keen On Development Of Konaseema

Kakinada:BJP state president PVN Madhav has said the central government is keen on development of Konaseema on the lines of Kerala, and the Kotipalli-Narsapur railway line would be completed soon.
Madhav participated in a Sobha Yatra at Amalapuram on Monday. It started from the Clock Tower Centre to the Kapu Kalyana Mandapam after paying tributes to Dokka Seethamma.
The BJP leader said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was striving hard to improve the livelihood of the 140 crore people and improve the nation’s infrastructure facilities.
Madhav said the Amalapuram Railway Line would be completed soon and the Amalapuram residents would be able to board the trains from their town. A National Highway is being developed from Kathipudi to Ongole and the shape of the roads are going to be changed completely, he said.
He said the BJP would make efforts to increase the price of coconut. Due to cyclones, Konaseema has suffered heavily. Insurance schemes would be introduced soon for the coconut and toddy tree climbers, he said and called upon the people that each of them plant a sapling in the name of their mother.
MLC Somu Veerraju said every party worker should visit the villages and campaign on the central government schemes. Roads and other infrastructure facilities are being provided in every village, he said.
The party’s national council member Ayyaji Vema, Amalapuram town president Ayyala Basha, Kisan Morcha national secretariat member Nalla Pavan Kumar, BJP leaders Yalla Dorababu, P Rammohana Rao, T Ramakrishna Reddy, P Satyanandam and others were present.
