Central Team Inspects Violation on Bheemili Beach
A PIL in connection with the violation was filed by Jana Sena Corporator PLN Yadav in the State High Court. The court ordered demolition of the wall, levying the demolition charges on Neha Reddy. The court felt these violations were harmful to the environment and hence appointed a committee to make ground-level inspections.
Visakhapatnam: The AP High Court-appointed environmental experts visited Bheemili Beach on Friday to assess violations caused by former Rajya Sabha member V. Vijay Sai Reddy’ daughter, Neha Reddy. Neha Reddy’s construction company violated CRZ norms while raising a compound wall to her property.

The committee members, NIO principal scientist M. Sivaramakrishna, Coastal Zone Management Authority chief scientist V.V.S. Sharma, State Pollution Control Board environmental engineer P.V. Mukunda Rao, Central Pollution Control Board scientist Duppala Soumya, and ministry of environment scientist Ch. Muralikrishna, inspected the site and will submit a report to the high court soon.
