Case Booked Against YSRC Leader in Allagadda
Tensions rise between TD and YSRC leaders as police book Kishore Reddy and followers
Kurnool: As part of the ongoing political tussle between TD legislator Bhuma Akhila Priya and YSRC leader Bhuma Kishore Reddy, a case has been registered against the latter at the Allagadda police station following a complaint by Naga Prasad of Yerraguntla.
The YSRC leaders had earlier accused Akhila Priya of collecting an additional Rs 25 per kg from local meat shops. In connection with the case, the police have also booked several of Kishore Reddy’s followers — Ambati Maheshwar Reddy, Shiva Shankar Reddy, Mallikarjun, Rudra Shiva Nagi Reddy, Prathapa Reddy and Ambati Chandrasekhar Reddy — under various sections.
In March this year, Akhila Priya had staged an unusual protest with chickens in front of a media office in Kurnool, expressing outrage over what she described as baseless allegations aimed at damaging her reputation. She also accused the YSRC of targeting her unfairly and acting with political bias.
