Bharath Invites Global Investors in New York to Andhra Pradesh

Bharath urged the Essar Capital leadership to partner in the state’s development and contribute to its industrial growth

Kurnool: Minister for industries T.G. Bharath, currently on an official visit to New York, invited global investors to explore investment opportunities in the state and assured them of the government’s full support.

During his visit, the minister met Essar Capital president and CEO Madhu Vappuluri and highlighted investment opportunities across multiple sectors in Andhra Pradesh. He said the state is emerging as a key investment destination and added that nearly 25 per cent of the investments coming into India are being attracted to Andhra Pradesh.

Bharath urged the Essar Capital leadership to partner in the state’s development and contribute to its industrial growth.

Later, the minister met representatives of Southern Roots. He said the company is planning to establish a state-of-the-art pecan nut shelling and food processing unit in Andhra Pradesh.

Reiterating the government’s focus on the sector, Bharath said consistent efforts were being made to position Andhra Pradesh as a leader in food processing in the country.
