APTET-2025 Results Out; Lokesh Hails Winners

Vijayawada:Education minister Nara Lokesh announced the results of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) on Friday, congratulating the successful candidates through a social media post.
The results are available on the official website tet2dsc.apcfss.in and through WhatsApp at 9552300009. Out of 2,48,427 candidates who appeared for the examination, 97,560 qualified, marking a pass percentage of 39.27 per cent – the lowest in recent APTET history.

The examination, conducted from December 10 to 21, 2025, through Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, drew 271,692 applications across four categories. The highest number of applications came for School Assistant (Regular) positions with 1,59,146 candidates, followed by School Graduate Teachers (SGT) Regular with 1,06,747 applications.
In-service teachers showed a relatively better performance, with 15,239 out of 31,886 qualifying, achieving a pass percentage of 47.82 per cent.
Compared with previous examinations, the October 2025 APTET shows a marked decline in pass percentages. The May 2018 examination had a 57.48 per cent pass rate, August 2022 saw 58.07 per cent, February 2024 recorded 58.4 per cent, and July 2024 had 50.79 per cent.
