APSRTC Slashes AC Bus Fares By 10% From Vizag To Major Cities

According to a press release issued by the District Public Transport officer, passengers can now avail themselves of a 10% discount on AC bus services across multiple routes, making long-distance travel more affordable and accessible.

Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has announced fare reductions for passengers travelling from Visakhapatnam to major destinations including BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited at Ramachandrapuram, Hyderabad), MGBS (Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station in Hyderabad), Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, and Amalapuram.

According to a press release issued by the District Public Transport officer, passengers can now avail themselves of a 10% discount on AC bus services across multiple routes, making long-distance travel more affordable and accessible.

The fare reduction applies to three key AC bus services operating from Visakhapatnam. Under the Amaravati AC service, passengers travelling to BHEL will now pay ₹1,690 instead of ₹1,870, while those heading to MGBS can travel for ₹1,650 instead of ₹1,810. The fare to Vijayawada has been reduced from ₹1,070 to ₹970, and Rajahmundry passengers will pay ₹550 instead of ₹600.

For the Night Rider Seat service, the new fares are ₹1,480 to BHEL (down from ₹1,670), ₹1,520 to MGBS (earlier ₹1,590), ₹870 to Vijayawada (earlier ₹960), and ₹520 to Rajahmundry (earlier ₹540).

The Night Rider Berth service now charges ₹1,730 to BHEL (down from ₹1,940), ₹1,680 to MGBS (down from ₹1,860), ₹1,010 to Vijayawada (down from ₹1,110), and ₹600 to Rajahmundry (down from ₹630).

Additionally, the Indra AC service to Amalapuram has reduced its fare from ₹550 to ₹500.
