APSFTVTDC Board Reconstituted; Bharath Bhushan Named Chairman

Senior officials from the Public Enterprises and Finance departments, along with the managing director of APSFTVTDC, will serve as ex officio directors.

The Andhra Pradesh government has reconstituted the Board of Directors of the Andhra Pradesh State Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation Limited (APSFTVTDC), appointing producer P. Bharath Bhushan as chairman for a two-year term. (DC)

 Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has reconstituted the Board of Directors of the Andhra Pradesh State Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation Limited (APSFTVTDC), appointing producer P. Bharath Bhushan as chairman for a two-year term.

Orders were issued through G.O.Rt.No.1046 by the General Administration (Information and Public Relations) Department on Saturday, replacing the earlier board constituted in May 2025.

The government said the reconstitution was made under Article 71(1) of the Articles of Association of the corporation.

Along with the chairman, 17 directors representing the film industry and key government departments were appointed to the board.

Among those inducted are actor Suman Talwar, actor-producer S. Sivaji, filmmaker V. Samudra, lyricist and writer Burra Sai Madhav, producer Chandalawada Srinivasa Rao and filmmaker S.V. Krishna Reddy.

Others appointed as directors include Chikkala Mehar Ramesh Kumar, Y. Jhansi, Vivek Kuchibhotla, K. Uma Maheswara Rao, Meer S., Kandimalla Sambasiva Rao, G. Raj Venkateswara Yadav and D. Satyanarayana.
