ANANTAPUR: Rayalaseema-based writer Dr Appireddy Harinath Reddy, a noted contributor to Telugu language and literature has been conferred the ATA Excellence Award by the American Telugu Association (ATA).
He received the award on Saturday during the ATA celebrations held at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad. The award was presented by ATA president Challa Jayanth, along with board members Satish Reddy, Mudireddy, Srikanth, Sainath and others.
It was also announced on the occasion that Dr Harinath Reddy has been appointed literary coordinator for the ATA magazine America Bharathi.
