APIS, RTIH to Host Loan Mela in Amaravati on March 6
Entrepreneurs and MSMEs across Andhra Pradesh have been invited to seize the opportunity to fast-track their growth. They can apply for the loan mela through the official APIS portal.
Vijayawada: In a major push to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS), in collaboration with the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH), will organise a one-day Loan Mela 2026 on March 6 at the RTIH campus in Amaravati.
The event will bring together more than 20 nationalised banks and leading financial institutions under one roof, offering MSMEs, start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs a dedicated platform to access institutional capital, thereby bridging the gap between innovation and funding.
APIS and RTIH chief executive officer P. Dhatri Reddy said over 1,000 MSMEs and start-ups from across the state will participate in the event, which will witness one-on-one interactions between entrepreneurs and bankers. Information will be readily available on the wide range of government-backed, credit-linked and subsidised schemes for starting businesses and developing or expanding them.
A key highlight of the event is the provision of AI-enabled Detailed Project Report (DPR) support offered free of cost. The DPR is designed to enhance the quality of project proposals and improve credit readiness among applicants.
Officials stated that there will be a specialised technical session on credit scores. It will guide participants on improving creditworthiness, maintaining financial discipline and ensuring robust documentation to enhance loan approval prospects.
Through the event, APIS aims to accelerate credit access, deepen financial literacy and create structured engagement between innovators and financial institutions.
