APCRDA Assures Amaravati Farmers To Resolve Their Land Issues

Vijayawada:Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) organised a Grievance Day at its office in Thullur to address issues faced by farmers and agricultural labourers in Amaravati.
APCRDA additional commissioner G. Suryasai Praveen Chand presided over the event, where farmers voiced numerous grievances related to the Negotiated Settlement Policy (NSP), land issues and unassigned land problems.
During the event, farmers presented their complaints directly to the additional commissioner, who assured them that officials concerned will resolve their issues promptly. He emphasised that corrective measures will be taken in accordance with government directives concerning grievances related to the assigned and unassigned lands.
The additional commissioner directed officers to ensure that any remaining issues of farmers must be addressed swiftly. He cautioned against complacency in resolving farmers’ problems.
Suryasai Praveen Chand explained that a total 38 complaints have been received during the event. 33 of them are related to land issues in Amaravati, two to promotion of development and one each related to social welfare, ands (Survey) and infrastructure.
