AP Releases Detailed DSC Notification; Applications Open On Nov. 11

Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh school education department has released the detailed notification for the recruitment of 2,721 teacher posts under the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Test-2026 (APTRT-2026), popularly known as DSC-2026. Online applications will open on November 11.

The notification, issued on Wednesday, follows the brief notification released on October 13, which announced recruitment across various managements in the state.

Of the total vacancies, 2,111 are regular school assistant and secondary grade teacher posts. Another 350 are special education teacher posts, comprising 150 special education school assistant and 200 special education secondary grade teacher vacancies.

The remaining 260 posts are in various societies and include principals, post graduate teachers, trained graduate teachers, physical directors and physical education teachers.

Eligible candidates can apply online from November 11. Details of the application procedure, fee payment, last date for submission and other requirements are available in the detailed notification.

The notification provides post-wise, district-wise and subject-wise vacancy details. It also lists vacancies under different communal categories, roster points and horizontal reservations applicable to individual posts.

The recruitment examinations will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The notification also specifies the examination dates and schedule.
