AP Not Displaying Tableau in Republic Day Parade in Delhi on Jan 26
AP is not going to display its tableau on January 26.
Vijayawada:Andhra Pradesh is not displaying its tableau at the 77th Republic Day Parade to be held in New Delhi on January 26.
As Andhra Pradesh successfully displayed its tableaux for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025 and as per norm, a state will be allowed to present its tableaux only three times in a row and there will be no representation immediately for the next year. AP is not going to display its tableau on January 26.
Interestingly, AP bagged the ‘Jury Award’ for its tableau displaying eco-friendly Etikoppka toys during the Republic Day Parade in Delhi in 2025 and the award was won by AP after 60 years. Similarly, AP also bagged the ‘People’s Choice Award’ for displaying a tableau of ‘modern education system’ during the Republic Day Parade in Delhi in 2024 and the award was won by the AP after 50 years, according to government sources.
