AP ICET-26 Results, 91.4% Qualify; Kakinada Girl Topper

Visakhapatnam: The results of AP ICET-2026, conducted for admissions into MBA and MCA courses in Andhra Pradesh, were released on Saturday, with 91.41 per cent of candidates qualifying in the entrance examination.

Education minister Nara Lokesh announced the results through X and said students could access them on the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) website. He congratulated all candidates who qualified in the examination.

Later, Andhra University Vice-Chancellor G.P. Rajasekhar formally released the detailed results at his office. He said 23,198 candidates appeared for the examination out of 26,219 registered applicants, and 21,205 qualified, recording a pass percentage of 91.41.

The Vice-Chancellor said P. Vaishnavi of Kakinada secured the first rank in the state.

AP ICET convener M. Sashi said the entrance examination was conducted on May 2 in two sessions across 92 centres in Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad. The Vice-Chancellor appreciated officials for conducting the examination smoothly and peacefully.

Among male candidates, 9,380 out of 10,432 qualified, registering a pass percentage of 89.91. Among women candidates, 11,825 out of 12,766 qualified, recording a higher pass percentage of 92.62.

Among the rankers, P Vaishnavi (Kakinada) obtained the first, B Venkata Siddhartha Yadav (YSR Kadapa District) second, Shaik Khajaliyakhat (Nellore) third, P Ramachandra Reddy (Tirupati) fourth and J Nani Mahesh Babu (East Godavari) fifth.

Rector Professor P. King, Registrar Professor K. Rambabu, Professor K. Rama Sudha, Computer Center director Professor Bhaskar Reddy, and others participated in the event.
