AP Govt Sanctions ₹45 Cr for Tribal School Infrastructure
The funds will be used to construct additional classrooms in 286 schools that have no buildings or require complete new structures

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh government has sanctioned ₹45.02 crore for improving infrastructure in government schools in the remote Alluri Sitarama Raju district.
According to G.O. No. 264, issued on Friday. The funds will be used to construct additional classrooms in 286 schools that have no buildings or require complete new structures, and to carry out major and minor repairs in 85 schools.
Minister for education Nara Lokesh has instructed officials to commence the works immediately, stating that the initiative is aimed at ensuring all schools in tribal regions have permanent buildings.
