AP Govt Releases ₹50.50 Crore Honorarium To 8,148 Pastors Ahead Of Christmas

VIJAYAWADA: As a Christmas gesture, the Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday released ₹50.50 crore towards honorarium payments for 8,148 pastors across the State.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, while participating in semi-Christmas celebrations earlier in the day, announced the release of the honorarium.
Accordingly, the government sanctioned ₹50,50,80,000 towards payment of honorarium to pastors for the period from December 2024 to November 2025. Each pastor will receive an honorarium of ₹6,000 per month, amounting to ₹72,000 annually.
