AP govt launches slot booking facility at registrar offices

Vijayawada: In a significant move to enhance transparency and efficiency, Minister of Revenue, Registration & Stamps Anagani Satya Prasad on Friday launched a slot booking facility at registrar offices across Andhra Pradesh. In the first phase, this facility has been launched at all main registrar offices in 26 districts, with plans to extend it to the remaining offices in the state by the end of the month in a phased manner.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Satyaprasad emphasized that the state government is committed to the welfare of its citizens. He highlighted that the introduction of slot booking will eliminate delays in the registration process. "With these facility, there will be no scope for corruption, ensuring a smoother and faster experience for the public," he said.
The Minister also announced measures to address land disputes, assuring that the government is taking steps to streamline the process and minimize conflicts.
He also revealed that the state is scrapping the NALA (Non-Agricultural Lands Assessment) Act, introducing a new policy to further simplify land-related procedures.
