AP Government to Issue Orders on Renewal of Wine Shop Licences
Officials confirmed that the existing license fee structure for the 2024–26 period will continue without change

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government is set to issue orders either Thursday or Friday for the renewal of wine shop licenses across the State.
Officials confirmed that the existing license fee structure for the 2024–26 period will continue without change. Under the new arrangement, licenses will be renewed for one year at 38 per cent of the prescribed fee.
The government expects to generate revenue of up to Rs.900 crore through the renewal process. The revised policy will come into effect from October 1, 2026, and remain valid until September 30, 2027.
