AP Eyes ₹4,256 Crore Investments, 14,261 Jobs
Kakinada is set to attract seven industrial units with investments of ₹2,857.63 crore, creating 6,799 jobs.
Kakinada:Industrialists have proposed investments of ₹4,256.61 crore in Andhra Pradesh, with the potential to generate 14,261 jobs. The proposals will be presented at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) summit in Kakinada on Monday.
Kakinada is set to attract seven industrial units with investments of ₹2,857.63 crore, creating 6,799 jobs. East Godavari district is expected to get three units involving ₹477.98 crore and 4,515 jobs.
Three units worth ₹201 crore, providing 1,450 jobs, are proposed in Srikakulam district. Indian Phosphate plans to invest ₹690 crore in a unit in Prakasam district, generating 500 jobs. Vishwasa Apparels will invest ₹30 crore in Chittoor district to provide 1,000 jobs.
Additionally, 31 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will participate in the summit, proposing investments of ₹104.95 crore and 1,064 jobs.
