AP Eapcet: Over 2.5 Lakh Students Qualify for Engineering and Agriculture Programmes

 Vijayawada: The results of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP Eapcet) 2025 have been released, with over 2.57 lakh students qualifying across both engineering and agriculture streams.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK), which conducted the examination on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), announced the results on Saturday.

Qualified candidates can now download their marksheets from the official website at https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET.

In the engineering stream, 1,89,748 students qualified out of 2,64,840 who appeared for the examination, recording a pass percentage of 71.65 per cent.

A total of 2,80,611 candidates had registered for the engineering stream. Notably, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts, with a pass rate of 73.37 per cent compared to 70.33 per cent for male candidates.

Among the total qualified students, 1,05,436 were males and 84,312 were females.

In the agriculture and pharmacy stream, 67,761 candidates qualified out of 75,460 who appeared, resulting in a pass percentage of 89.8 per cent. This stream had 81,837 registered candidates in total.

The AP Eapcet 2025 was held from May 19 to May 27 in two sessions daily across 145 examination centres in 24 districts of Andhra Pradesh, along with two additional centres in the Hyderabad region.

In engineering, the NTR district reported the highest number of qualified candidates with 25,943, followed by Visakhapatnam with 22,111, Guntur with 15,078, and Tirupati with 11,930.

In agriculture and pharmacy, Visakhapatnam led again with 7,411 qualified candidates, followed by the NTR district with 5,701, and Kurnool with 5,305.

In the engineering stream, SC and ST categories achieved a 100 per cent pass rate. The OC category recorded a qualification rate of 69.11 per cent, while various BC categories had pass rates ranging from 62.93 per cent to 67.17per cent.

Similarly, in the agriculture stream, SC and ST categories achieved a 100 per cent qualification rate, while the OC category had a success rate of 88.69 per cent.
