VIJAYAWADA: Minister for revenue, registration and stamps Anagani Satya Prasad on Saturday said the government had distributed 1.21 lakh pattadar passbooks over the past two days, as part of its plan to distribute 22 lakh passbooks across the state by January 9.
The minister said the distribution of new pattadar passbooks, carrying the State Emblem and QR codes, was being carried out in a festive atmosphere in districts where land resurvey had been completed. He ruled out the possibility of printing errors and advised farmers to approach officials at gram sabhas to clarify any doubts.
He said all land records would be made available at gram sabhas to ensure transparency and address farmers’ concerns.
