AP CM Promises High-Level Probe Into 'Custodial Murder' of Sai Krishna
Sai Krishna’s mother Vijayalakshmi and other family members met the chief minister at his camp office at Undavalli on Friday and sought an inquiry.
Vijayawada:Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has promised to take up a high-level impartial inquiry into the allegation that a youth, Gade Sai Krishna, was murderd by custodial torture.
Sai Krishna’s mother Vijayalakshmi and other family members met the chief minister at his camp office at Undavalli on Friday and sought an inquiry.
The CM promised a comprehensive inquiry and said the culprits would be taken to task. He inquired with Vijayalakshmi the circumstances leading to the missing of Sai Krishna and told her that the main accused, Krishnalanka CI Nagaraju, was placed under suspension.
Later, Sai Krishna’s maternal uncle Mullapudi Navarang told the media that the CM understood the pain of a mother losing her son and gave an assurance to punish the accused cops. “We hope that, with the intervention of the CM and deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, we would get justice.”
