AP Chambers Signs MoU With South Korea Body To Boost Trade Ties

During discussions, both sides explored opportunities for cooperation in sectors including food processing, aquaculture, electronics, manufacturing and allied industries

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CEPA India, representing South Korea’s Chungcheongnam-do Province, to strengthen bilateral trade and industrial cooperation.
The agreement was signed at the AP Chambers office in Vijayawada in the presence of representatives of both organisations.
During discussions, both sides explored opportunities for cooperation in sectors including food processing, aquaculture, electronics, manufacturing and allied industries.
The organisations agreed to facilitate business-to-business (B2B) meetings, trade delegations and industry interactions between small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from Andhra Pradesh and Chungcheongnam-do Province.
As part of the partnership, both sides also decided to encourage delegate visits between Andhra Pradesh and South Korea to promote industrial collaboration, business partnerships and investment opportunities.
AP Chambers president Potluri Bhaskara Rao said Andhra Pradesh offers a strong investment climate and vast industrial potential. He said the partnership would create opportunities for trade expansion, technology exchange, joint ventures and investments beneficial to both regions.
CEPA India officials assured full support for organising future meetings and coordinating delegate visits to strengthen long-term economic cooperation between Andhra Pradesh and South Korea.
