AP BJP Chief Wants Youth to Join Politics and Build Viksit Bharat
He called upon youth to raise their voice on public issues and effectively counter misinformation and divisive campaigns
VIJAYAWADA: BJP Andhra Pradesh president P.V.N. Madhav on Saturday called upon young people to actively enter politics and play a vital role in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047.
Addressing BJP Yuva Morcha state office-bearers’ meeting at the party’s state headquarters in Vijayawada, Madhav said politics should be viewed as a platform for public service, rather than pursuit of power. He urged youth, particularly women below the age of 25, to come forward, develop leadership qualities, and contribute to nation-building.
Stressing the need for skill development, the BJP state president advised youngsters to embrace technology, overcome fear of challenges, and seize emerging opportunities through hard work and dedication. He called upon youth to raise their voice on public issues and effectively counter misinformation and divisive campaigns.
Highlighting the centre’s support to Andhra Pradesh, Madhav said Polavaram project remains the only national project receiving 100 per cent central funding and efforts are underway to expedite its completion. He urged party workers to spread awareness about the centre’s assistance to Polavaram and for the construction of Amaravati.
The BJP leader emphasised that investments worth ₹14 lakh crore have flowed into Andhra Pradesh, creating new industrial and employment opportunities. He cited the establishment of a data centre and other major industries in Visakhapatnam as examples of the state’s growth potential.
Madhav urged Yuva Morcha activists to effectively use social media to publicise the centre’s welfare and development initiatives. He wanted them to participate in the organisation’s drive to plant 10 lakh palm trees along the coastline of Andhra Pradesh.
