ANU Invites Applications For M.A. Urdu Course
Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur, has invited applications for admission to its M.A. Urdu (regular) programme for the academic year 2026–27.

Vijayawada: Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur, has invited applications for admission to its M.A. Urdu (regular) programme for the academic year 2026–27. A total of 20 seats are available under the regular mode.
University officials said candidates with any undergraduate degree and Urdu as a second language are eligible to apply. In addition, those who have completed recognised traditional Islamic studies courses are also eligible.
Recognised qualifications include Fazil from Jamia Nizamia, Hyderabad; Alimiyat from Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow; Aalimiyat from Jamia Darul Uloom, Deoband; Fazil-e-Mazahir and Maulvi Fazil from Mazahirul Uloom, Saharanpur; Adib-e-Fazil from the University of Madras and Thiruvalluvar University; Fazeelath from Jamia Darus Salam, Omerabad; B.Lit (Urdu) from the University of Madras; and Alim from the Bihar Madrasa Education Board, Patna.
Admissions will be through the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (APPGCET). Candidates must register online via the APSCHE portal.
