Anitha Denies Reports of AP Police Visit to Prof Nageswar’s Residence in Hyderabad

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha has strongly condemned reports circulating on social media claiming that AP Police visited the residence of Prof. Nageswar in Hyderabad to arrest him, calling them “fake news.”

In a statement, she clarified that no such police action had taken place and warned that strict legal and police action would be initiated against individuals spreading false information with malicious intent.

The minister urged the public to rely on verified sources and avoid sharing unconfirmed reports, emphasizing the government’s commitment to curb misinformation.
