Anitha Condemns Ambati Rambabu’s Remarks on CM Naidu
She recalled incidents during the YSR Congress regime when political offices were attacked and said such behaviour would not be tolerated.
Visakhapatnam:Home minister Vangalapudi Anitha on Saturday strongly criticised remarks made by YSR Congress leader Ambati Rambabu against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, calling them inappropriate and against democratic norms.
Addressing the media, Anitha said Rambabu’s comments crossed all limits of decency and were unacceptable in a civil society. She said such language lowered the standards of political discourse and warranted firm action.
The home minister warned that no one would be allowed to disturb public peace or abuse the police, adding that strict action would be taken against those attempting to create law and order problems. She recalled incidents during the YSR Congress regime when political offices were attacked and said such behaviour would not be tolerated.
Anitha said the Chief Minister was a committed leader and that personal attacks on him amounted to disrespecting the people of the State. She alleged that the YSR Congress Party’s electoral decline was due to its actions against Chandrababu Naidu, including what she termed unjust cases.
Referring to the Tirumala laddu ghee controversy, Anitha alleged large-scale irregularities and said attempts were being made to divert attention through personal attacks. She reiterated that the government was committed to maintaining law and order and would act firmly against any violations.
