Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the state would transform into a spiritual hub of the country. He stressed the need to link up technology and spirituality.

On the eve of International Yoga Day, Yogandhra programme was held near Undavalli Caves in Amaravati on Saturday. Naidu witnessed the yoga training being imparted by Ramdev Baba, near the caves. Ramdev Baba briefed Naidu various yoga asanas and their benefits.

Naidu lauded Ramdev Baba for making yoga popular by promoting asanas and spirituality for the last few decades. At present, youth are under extreme stress in the society and need to practice yoga to destress themselves. Over 190 countries across the world are practicing yoga. Efforts are underway to increase the green cover in the state from 31 per cent to 50 per cent, he said.

"I promoted technology for more than 30 years and Baba Ramdevji promoted yoga and spirituality for the last few decades. Both are not separate, they are interlinked," Naidu said.

Ramdev Baba hailed Naidu as a Chief Minister with vision and said he was working in alignment with the Prime Minister's Viksit Bharat goals.

Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav and others were present.
