Andhra Pradesh Promotes Five IAS Officers to Super Time Scale

 Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has promoted five IAS officers to the super time scale, with effect from January 1, 2026.

Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand issued GO Rt No. 2463 in this regard on Friday.

According to the order, Dr Narayana Bharath Gupta, director of collegiate education and state project director (SPD), RUSA, has been retained in the same post and re-designated as commissioner, collegiate education and SPD, RUSA.

Amrapali Kata, vice-chairperson and managing director of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, has been retained in her present post.

Gandam Chandrudu, currently serving as additional secretary in the labour, factories, boilers and insurance medical services department, has been promoted and posted as commissioner of labour.

C. Naga Rani, collector of West Godavari district, has been retained in the same post.

J. Nivas has also been promoted to the super time scale.
