Andhra Pradesh: Fortinet Provides ₹10 Lakh Worth Laptops To Police

ANANTAPUR: Fortinet, a global cybersecurity company, donated 20 high-end laptops worth ₹10 lakh to the Anantapur police under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative on Friday.

The laptops were handed over to Anantapur SP P. Jagadish at a function held at the district police headquarters by Fortinet India managing director Kishore and A.G. Anil Kumar of the AGS Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion, Kishore said Fortinet was committed to supporting institutions working towards a safer and technologically empowered society.

He announced that the company would donate another batch of laptops worth ₹20 lakh within the next 10 days to further strengthen the district police's technological capabilities.

He said the support would enhance infrastructure at the Rakshak School and strengthen the Cyber Crime Command and Control Centre, enabling the police to improve cybercrime investigation and digital learning facilities.

SP P. Jagadish thanked Fortinet and the AGS Foundation for the contribution, saying the laptops would significantly enhance the district police's cybercrime response capabilities and support various technology-driven initiatives.
