Vijayawada: Health minister Satya Kumar Yadav’s office has lodged a complaint with cybercrime police after a fake Facebook account in Satya Kumar's name was posting obscene content.

Based on preliminary inquiry, the police found that some people created a FB account in the name of the minister and started posting content containing the minister’s tour programmes.

However, when obscene content was posted on the account, the minister’s office staff members found it objectionable. It was found that the FB account was being run from Tirupati and a phone number was also mentioned in the account.

Police have started an investigation on the issue.
