Andhra Pradesh: Engineering Student Dies by Suicide After Loss in Betting

 Anantapur: An engineering student died by suicide after incurring losses in cricket betting at Badvel in Kadapa district on Sunday.

Sources said K. Pavan of Badvel was in third year engineering at a private college. In the ongoing IPL matches, he was attracted towards betting. Initially, he got profits and expecting more returns, he invested Rs 80,000.

However, he lost his entire investment. Upset over this, he took the extreme step. Badvel police registered a case based on a complaint by his parents.
