Andhra Pradesh Couple Killed As Bikes Collide Head-On

 Kadapa: A couple were killed in a tragic road accident after two motorcycles collided head-on in Pullampet mandal of Rajampet Assembly constituency on Wednesday.

The accident occurred near Puttannavaripalle village when the two motorcycles collided, killing the couple on the spot. The deceased were identified as Sombattina Narayana (48) and his wife Lakshmi Devi (42), residents of Galivaripalle village in Rajampet mandal. The two persons travelling on the other motorcycle sustained minor injuries.

According to police, the impact of the collision was severe, leaving the victims with fatal injuries. The injured were given first aid, while local residents alerted the authorities immediately after the accident.

The bodies were shifted to Rajampet Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Pullampet police have registered a case and launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
