Andhra Guv, CM Extend Milad-un-Nabi Greetings
The governor said that Milad-un-Nabi commemorates the birth of Prophet Mohammad and highlighted the Prophet's life as an inspiring saga of love, brotherhood and virtue for mankind.
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday extended Milad-un-Nabi greetings to the people.Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
The governor said that Milad-un-Nabi commemorates the birth of Prophet Mohammad and highlighted the Prophet's life as an inspiring saga of love, brotherhood and virtue for mankind.
"I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all Muslim brethren of Andhra Pradesh on the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi," Nazeer said in a post on 'X'.
He said the Prophet's mission is fulfilled when people serve their fellow countrymen with faith, trust, care and compassion.
Nazeer noted that the day reminds people of the kindness, compassion and teachings of the Holy Prophet and wished that the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi would usher in peace and goodwill among all.
Similarly, Chief Minister Naidu said that Prophet Muhammad was a divinely blessed soul who worked for the welfare of all humanity and to establish peace.
He said the Prophet had love and compassion towards fellow human beings and worked throughout his life to establish a peaceful society.
"Heartfelt greetings to all Muslim brothers celebrating the birth anniversary of the Prophet with utmost devotion and reverence," Naidu said in a post on 'X'
