Cyient founder says AI boosts skills, sparks innovation
Kurnool: Dr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, founder chairman of Cyient, said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) would not replace jobs, but augment human capabilities, driving efficiency and innovation. He was addressing an interactive session at IIITDM Kurnool on Saturday. Dr. Reddy discussed the transformative impact of AI on design, manufacturing, aerospace, and engineering. He compared its potential impact to that of electricity in revolutionising human life. Mohan Reddy emphasised that adaptability and strong skills are increasingly important, as industries continue to evolve rapidly. He talked about how starting new businesses and being an entrepreneur can change industries, and told students to take on new challenges with confidence. The session, organised by the Entrepreneurship & Business Cell of the institute, also featured real-time idea pitches by students, with selected participants receiving certificates of appreciation.
