Visakhapatnam: Assistant Divisional Railway manager (ADRM) (Operations) Kundu Rama Rao conducted a surprise inspection at Visakhapatnam Railway Station on Friday to review the quality of passenger amenities and onboard services.
During the inspection, Rama Rao examined the On-Board Housekeeping Service (OBHS) staff of the Tirumala Express, with particular focus on the quality and timely supply of linen to passengers. He interacted with the staff and verified compliance with prescribed standards and procedures.
The ADRM also inspected the pantry car of the Prasanthi Express to assess cleanliness, hygiene and overall maintenance of the catering unit.
Officials said the inspection was aimed at ensuring improved service standards and passenger comfort.
