KUPPAM: In a major break through towards women empowerment and environmental protection, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today distributed 5,555 e-Cycles to women within a span of 24 hours and entered into Guinness Book of World Records.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the e-Cycles will help to save Rs 1000 to Rs 1500 per month to each woman including students. He said that the e-cycles will help to protect the environment in a big way and at the same time help to improve self confidence among women. To top it all the e-cycles supplied by e-Motarad company were assembled in Kuppam itself.

Describing the e-Cycle as super cycle, the Chief Minister said the e-Cycles can be charged through rooftop solars on their own house itself without spending money and one can reach sixty kilometers. He said as people supported the cycle in the elections, the coalition government made their dreams a reality.

The Chief Minister reached Praja Vedika venue at Thumsi village through a e-Cycle rally from Sivapuram village.
