400-MW Solar Project Planned In Nandyal
Axis Energy and Lumara will develop a 400-MW solar project in Nandyal district, with commissioning targeted for 2027
Axis Energy has partnered with Lumara, a renewable energy platform launched by Brookfield in India, to develop a 400-MW utility-scale solar power project at Nandipadu village in Nandyal district.
Axis Energy will undertake the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for the project, which is expected to generate employment for local people during the construction and operational phases.
The project will include a 400-kV pooling substation and a 400-kV transmission line to evacuate power to the Kurnool-III CTUIL substation, facilitating its integration with the national grid.
The companies are targeting commissioning of the project in 2027.
Axis Energy joint managing director Kiran Kumar Reddy said the partnership combined Lumara’s capabilities with Axis Energy’s experience in renewable energy and EPC execution.
