Polycet Exam in Hyderabad Draws 92,808 Candidates for Various Diplomas

Hyderabad: The Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (Polycet) was held on Friday for aspirants seeking admission to three-year engineering and non-engineering diploma courses in government and private polytechnic institutions, as well as diplomas in agriculture, veterinary, and horticulture. A total of 92,808 candidates registered for the exam, which took place from 11 am to 1.30 pm at 250 centres statewide. Candidates were permitted entry starting one hour prior to the exam and barred from entering post 11 am. As per the Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training, strict prohibitions on cell phones and electronic gadgets were enforced within examination centres.
