Kapil Sharma’s Café Attacked Again; Bishnoi Gang Links Incident to Salman Khan
According to lreports, at least 25 shots were fired at Kap’s Café
Comedian Kapil Sharma’s café in Surrey, Canada, has come under gunfire for the second time in less than a month, with police and intelligence agencies probing suspected links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and its long-running feud with Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
According to media reports, at least 25 shots were fired at Kap’s Café, which shattered windows and damaged the building. Several staff members were inside at the time, but no one was injured.
Meanwhile, two gangs, led by Gurpreet Singh alias Goldy Dhillon and the other by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, have claimed responsibility for the attack on social media. In a purported video, Bishnoi gang member “Harry Boxer” stated that the shootings were in retaliation for Sharma inviting Salman Khan to the café’s inauguration.
“The first and now second firing at Kapil Sharma’s restaurant happened because he had invited Salman Khan… Anyone working with him will be shot,” the voice warned, adding that actors, directors, and producers collaborating with Khan would be targeted.
Bishnoi, currently imprisoned, has issued multiple threats to Khan, and his gang members were suspected of involvement in an April 2023 firing at the actor’s Bandra residence. Khan has since been under Y+ security cover.
