Teen Dead, Friend Hurt In Car Crash

Hyderabad:A 19-year-old student died, Donda Tanush, and his friend 16-year-old friend sustained injuries after their car overturned near Lingapur thanda in Muchchinthalapalli in Shamirpet. They had gone in the survivor’s car to refuel diesel.

They were returning to Adraspalli village when the car hit a tree by the roadside, and overturned. Tanush, who was driving, suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Keesara where he was declared dead. The teen, who is not being named as he is a minor, was taken to a private hospital in Alwal for treatment.

A case has been registered at Shamirpet police station, and further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.

Lorry overturns, blocks traffic

Hyderabad: A truck laden with scrap overturned near Ranganayaka Swamy temple road in Kukatpally on Friday, causing traffic disruption on the busy stretch.

There were no casualties in the accident. Traffic police, along with Kukatpally police, reached the spot and moved the truck to the roadside to restore flow of vehicles. No case was registered in this regard.
