Hyderabad:A major fire broke out at a well-known mall in Chandanagar on Friday evening. No casualties were reported. Staff and customers called the Chandanagar police and the Patancheru fire station. Meanwhile, the fire spread through all the five floors, destroying the building and spreading to a shop beside. Nearly 10 fire engines were working on dousing the flames.

The fire is suspected to have erupted as a result of a short circuit. As of 9.30 pm, efforts are still underway to douse the flames, an officer from the Patancheru fire station said.

This led to a huge traffic congestion on the main road. The road going towards Miyapur and BHEL experienced a traffic congestion for nearly 50 minutes. The Cyberabad traffic police cleared the traffic.

Don’t share troop videos on SM: Police

Hyderabad:Rachakonda cybercrime police have urged citizens not to share videos or photos of Indian Army, Air Force or Navy vehicles and troop movements through cities or towns. In an advisory posted on social media, the police warned that such posts could unintentionally aid enemy forces by revealing sensitive information. They cautioned that sharing such content often prompts others to film and circulate similar footage, increasing the risk to national security.

The police stressed that safeguarding the nation is more important than gaining social media attention and urged people to act responsibly. Citizens have been asked to report any suspicious activity by calling +91 87126 62666 or +91 87126 62111, instead of posting it online.
